Robert Fabricant knows the impact of technology. He has developed user experiences for handheld devices, in-car information systems, retail environments, networked applications, and desktop software. As vice president of creative for frog design, he leads multidisciplinary teams of strategists, interaction designers, industrial designers and technologists for name brands such as AOL, BBC, Coca-Cola Comcast, GE, MTV, Nextel and Nissan.
But some of Fabricant’s most important clients also depend on technology to survive. frog’s Design for Impact initiative includes Project Masiluleke, which has harnessed the power of mobile technology to combat the world’s worst HIV and AIDS epidemic in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
